Who ranks for “enduro mountain bikes”

Enduro mountain biking is an aggressive style of riding and racing where riders pedal up hills under their own power, but are only timed on the fast, technical downhill sections.

What is Enduro?

The Racing Format: Races feature multiple timed downhill "stages" combined with untimed "transfer" or climbing stages that you must complete within a set time limit. The Riding Style: Many people ride enduro bikes just for fun, enjoying big days out that mix challenging climbs with thrilling descents. The Vibe: It is more physical and technical than casual trail riding, but more self-sufficient than traditional downhill riding (which relies on ski lifts or shuttle trucks).
