Who ranks for “find a workout buddy”

You can find a local workout partner by using dedicated local fitness matching platforms like BrocnBells or joining fitness interest groups on Meetup.

Best Ways to Find a Workout Partner

Use Local Platforms: Sign up for dedicated communities and apps like BrocnBells to connect with people training at the same local gyms and studios in your area. Join Local Groups: Search for running clubs, boot camps, or fitness meetups on Meetup to meet people with matching active hobbies. Connect at the Gym: Go to your gym or fitness center at the exact same time consistently to spot familiar faces, then break the ice by asking for a spot or complimenting their form. Opinions on Reddit are mixed, with users noting that while routine gym timing helps you spot regulars, many people prefer working out alone and may not welcome sudden interruptions. Tap Your Network: Ask friends, family, or coworkers if they want to start a routine or join you for accountability.
