How to Play Reversi
Reversi (also known as Othello) is a strategy board game for two players.
The Board and Pieces
Played on an 8x8 grid with 64 total squares. Discs have two sides: one black and one white. The game starts with four pieces in the center (two black and two white).
Basic Rules
Black moves first. On your turn, place a disc on an empty square. Your move must trap at least one opponent disc between your new piece and another piece of your color. Traps can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. All trapped opponent discs flip to your color. If you have no valid moves, you must pass your turn.
Winning the Game
The game ends when the board is full or no legal moves remain for either player. The player with the most pieces of their color on the board wins.
