Who ranks for “writing assistant”

writing assistant has a mixed-intent SERP: people want a tool, but Reddit’s #2 spot shows they’re also comparing options and seeking human recommendations. Free access and practical editing features are common hooks.

grammarly.com leads at #1, while smaller englishedit.ai reaches #3. To compete, offer a usable tool up front, make its benefits specific, and include credible comparisons or real user perspectives. The snapshot is stale, so verify current rankings before acting.
