Het LVVN Attaché Netwerk (LAN) zet zich in voor de internationalisering van het Nederlandse agro- en natuurdomein. ### Dutch Poultry solutions during the Agroworld 2025

Cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands in the poultry sector is taking off in a new direction. Supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, and Topsector Agri & Food, through the Strategic Exhibitions Program, this partnership brought together leading Dutch companies and key Kazakh industry players on a huge Dutch Pavilion during the Agroworld-2025 Exhibition in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

### How Dutch knowledge can make a difference in South Korea’s bioeconomy

While many countries are still experimenting with circular solutions, South Korea already recycles over 98% of its food waste, making it one of the world’s most efficient bioresource recyclers. By contrast, the Netherlands reports only 58% recycling for combined food and garden waste. Alongside national efforts in synthetic biology, smart agriculture, and biomanufacturing, South Korea’s trajectory offers valuable lessons for innovators, policymakers, and businesses.

### Can Swedish agriculture become a carbon sink instead of a source?

Agriculture accounts for about 13% of Sweden’s total greenhouse gas emissions. However, farming can also help capture CO₂ from the air. Carbon farming is gaining attention as a key strategy to reduce the agricultural sector's contribution to climate change and to achieve set climate goals. The EU promotes carbon farming through policies like the LULUCF Regulation and the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
