What is CareerFoundry?

CareerFoundry is the online career academy for aspiring tech professionals. Develop the skills of in-demand professions, upskill in the tools of the future, and work with expert mentors and career specialists to stay ahead of the job market. All in a flexible, online setup, with a job guarantee at graduation. At CareerFoundry, we’ll help you launch a career that lasts.

What can I study with CareerFoundry?

We currently offer career-change programs, introductory courses, and specialization courses in the fields of: UX design, UI design, product design, data analytics, web development, digital marketing, and product management.

Our programs are entirely asynchronous and online—meaning you can study when and wherever you like, as long as you stay on track for graduation. But this doesn’t mean the learning experience is isolated or lonely! You’ll have regular contact with your mentor, tutor, student advisor, and career specialist—as well as full access to our active student community on Slack.

I have a full-time job. Is CareerFoundry for me?

CareerFoundry is built with busy schedules in mind, so you can work to your own timetable—not rigid class calendars. That means there’s no need to quit your job or put life on hold, since you decide when and where you learn.

If you are working a full-time job, you’ll need to dedicate approximately 15–20 hours per week to your CareerFoundry program, and can expect to graduate in 5–10 months (depending on the program).

Can I learn about AI from scratch with CareerFoundry?

A career in tech means staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies—this includes being ready to use AI tools on the job when you graduate. Your mentor and tutor will teach you to use generative AI to become more effective in your work, so you can launch a career in tech that lasts.

Our cutting-edge curriculum introduces you to AI tools that can help leverage your work. You’ll learn how and when to use AI—and when not to. It’s important to know that AI cannot replace you, but should be there to assist you in your work. We’ll teach you to use critical thinking to evaluate the task at hand, and teach you how to use AI ethically.

Will I get a job after graduating from CareerFoundry?

Over 90% of our graduates land a job in their new field on completion of their career-change program. We’re so confident in the efficacy of our programs that we offer a job guarantee. Land a job in your new field within six months, or we’ll refund your tuition.

You’ll work in partnership with a career specialist to get job-ready. They’ll be knowledgeable about the job market in the location(s) of the jobs you’re applying for. Together, you’ll develop and implement a strategy for how to find the right jobs with the right employers, start networking, and get noticed by employers online.
