## Know the Facts About Traumatic Brain Injury

**Learn about traumatic brain injury (TBI) and how the TBI Action Alliance is advancing awareness, research and collaboration for brain trauma solutions.**

No one deserves to suffer due to a lack of effective diagnostics and treatments for traumatic brain injuries. Help us raise awareness that we need more effective treatment options for TBI.

Together, we can make an impact and improve lives.

## Our Mission: Advancing Solutions for Brain Trauma from Theory to Therapeutics

Cohen Veterans Bioscience is a non-profit biomedical research organization leading a new approach to research, diagnosis and treatment of PTSD and TBI. We are dedicated to advancing brain health by fast-tracking precision diagnostics and tailored therapeutics, leading the way to cure “invisible wounds” for the millions of veterans, service members, first responders, and civilians who suffer from brain trauma-related conditions.

We’re leading a new approach in research, diagnosis, and treatments for PTSD and TBI.

By combining the power of biotechnology with rigorous research, high-performance computing, and data analytics, we’re accelerating the development of precision diagnostics and tailored treatments for military service members, Veterans, first responders, and all people living with the effects of brain trauma.

Learn More about our Research

We advocate at the federal, state, and local levels for policies that prioritize new solutions for all people affected by brain trauma.

Our advocacy work promotes reforms, policies and meaningful research investments that will spur new research discoveries and advance a precision medicine approach to diagnosing and treating PTSD and TBI.

Learn More about our advocacy

## What Our Partners Say

The fastest way to help Veterans living with TBI and PTSD is to break down the traditional silos of science and scientific resources. There is no doubt in my mind that coordinated team science will accelerate progress toward diagnosis and treatments. We are thrilled to be working with Cohen Veterans Bioscience.

– Rachel Ramoni, DMD, ScD
Chief Research and Development Officer at the Veterans Health Administration

## Meet the Minds Powering Cohen Veterans Bioscience

Advocating for systemic transformation to advance solutions for brain trauma takes a village and is critical to our mission. For too long, we have been using a band-aid methodology to treat brain trauma. Moving the field forward will require an approach based on each person’s unique biological profile to bring us closer toward realizing more personalized treatments.
