# Advancing Carbon Market Integrity Through Best Practice

ICROA is an industry Programme committed to enhancing integrity in the voluntary carbon market in support of the Paris Agreement Goals.

Our mission is to enable climate leadership across the private sector by developing and advocating for best practices in science-aligned emissions reductions and use of high-quality carbon credits ahead of and beyond regulation.

## ICROA Approval Programme

Approval against the ICROA Code of Best Practice ensures that businesses effectively reduce and compensate for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through the use of high-quality carbon credits. The Programme is open to voluntary carbon market (VCM) service providers committed to promoting the highest standards of environmental integrity in support of the goals of the Paris Agreement. ICROA is a non-profit Programme housed within IETA.
