## Celebrating different minds

## What is Neurodiversity Celebration Week?

Founded by Siena Castellon in 2018, Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported by providing schools, universities, organisations, and others around the world with the opportunity to recognise the many skills and talents of neurodivergent individuals, while creating more inclusive and equitable cultures that celebrate differences and empower every individual.

### New for 2026

This year, we have two new exciting changes to the previous format.

### Host Your Own Webinar

Firstly, alongside our sessions, we’d love to create space for members of the neurodiversity community to lead conversations on the topics that matter most to you. This is a great time to expand the impact and inclusive values of Neurodiversity Celebration Week.

If you’d be interested in hosting a webinar or panel discussion, we’ll share practical toolkits for parents, schools, and employers—helping to turn ideas into real change on the ground and sparking conversations throughout the week over coffee or teatime, whether that means sharing your lived experiences, highlighting research, or exploring solutions to challenges in the community.

### From Awareness to Action: Making Organisational Change Happen

Secondly, we also feel it’s time to move beyond awareness by focusing our own webinar series on action at an organisational level and how we can share best practice together to have greater, more sustained impact.

Building on previous years’ work, our sessions will showcase best practice in leadership, systems change, and scaling inclusion across workplaces, schools, and communities.

## Our purpose

Our purpose is to help the world to understand, value and celebrate the talents of neurodiverse minds.

## Our mission

Our mission is to change the narrative. Working together with organisations, universities and schools we aim to:

Continue to Increase acceptance and understanding

Move beyond awareness by focusing on action

Provide
Education

Celebrate neurodiversity

Working together to create a world that understands it takes all kinds of different minds.
