### OHSU, 3 other universities join to create cancer models

The mathematical models could provide a tool to predict how cancer cells behave. That could point the way to custom treatments with better results and fewer side effects.

### OHSU takes over national study on the health of older adults

A $2.8 million grant will fund research on common chronic conditions and complex care needs. The goal is to foster “high-quality, person-centered care” in Oregon and elsewhere.

### Neuroscientist wins rare honor for brain function research

Eric Gouaux is now a two-time winner of the Javits Neuroscience Investigator Award. His lab at OHSU will get $5.4 million to advance knowledge of how the brain processes information.
