The cost of an online doctor will vary depending on the telehealth platform and your insurance status. At PlushCare, we accept patients with or without insurance. The average insured patient pays less than $25 to speak with one of our physicians. For patients without insurance, there is a $129 fee for an online doctor appointment, much less than the average health clinic.
- How do I see a doctor online?

You can see a doctor online by using PlushCare. - Can an online doctor diagnose you?

Yes, an online doctor can diagnose you. Online doctors work great for treating non-emergency conditions such as minor bacterial infections, the cold and flu, and many mental health conditions. They are also useful for managing chronic conditions and getting prescriptions filled and refilled, without having to go to a doctor's office in person.
- Do I need insurance to see an online doctor?

Whether or not you need health insurance to see an online doctor will depend on the telehealth platform. At PlushCare, we accept patients with or without health insurance. If you do not have health insurance, you can still book an appointment with a PlushCare doctor and receive treatment. We charge a fee of $129 for an appointment without insurance.
- Can I get a prescription online without seeing the doctor?

You need to have a consultation with a medical doctor before you can receive prescription medication. This can be done through an online doctor's appointment via phone or video chat. If the doctor finds that you may benefit from a prescription, they will electronically send one to the pharmacy of your choice.

Online doctors at PlushCare can write prescriptions and prescription refills and will electronically send your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice, following your online appointment. They can also provide you with a doctor’s note, if necessary.

Wow... I really can't give a better review than 5 stars? I would if I could. Needed a doctor appointment and was able to get a real doctor in less than five minutes! I was able to tell him what I needed help with and got the results I needed. Did I mention it was covered by my insurance 100 percent and my prescription was filled at CVS within 10 minutes? oh and if you don't have insurance it is only 99 dollars... Just awesome.
