What is a webhook?


A webhook is a method for one web application to provide real-time information to another application when a specific event occurs. It’s like a phone call made by an application to another when something noteworthy happens.

With Runbot, a trading order is sent as a message Alert to your platform, your server, or even on your social app like Discord!

Is Runbot free to use?



Yes, Runbot has a free plan, which includes more than 40 indicators, more than 100 editing rules for free, and unlimited backtests at no costs on a 1 year period for all your strategies. On top of that, we also offer, free and unlimited amount of trading bots with our partners.

If you’d like to enjoy premium features, such as 3 years of historical backtests or access to the Composer or Optimiser tool, you’ll need to purchase credits and pay-as-you-use.

Are Trading Bots Free on Runbot? Is there a limit?



Trading bots are free and unlimited as long as you are send them to our free partners.

Otherwise, if you are using other services such as Tealstreet, Mizar, WunderTrading or Alertatron, you’ll need to purchase credits to pay for each Alerts sent by our service. Learn more here on our pricing page

Can I buy or sell automated trading bot strategies?



Yes, Runbot.io has an NFT Marketplace where users can buy and sell exclusive algo-strategies templates in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), simplifying signal bot trading and making it more accessible for everyone.

Do I need to deposit funds into Runbot to begin trading?
