## Autism & ADHD Testing

### Diagnostic Testing

Our Autism & ADHD testing helps determine if you, or a loved one, has ADHD, Autism or AuDHD (both). The assessment is conducted virtually via Zoom or Google Meet and typically takes between 2 and 2.5 hours. We utilize current, validated self-report measures and assessments. At the conclusion of the evaluation, if applicable, you will receive a letter indicating your diagnosis, a diagnostic 4-page report or both, depending on which evaluation type you choose on the booking page.

### Our Autism & ADHD Testing Process

The two-hour diagnostic evaluation for Autism, ADD, and ADHD goes beyond a simple checklist. We use the latest diagnostic tools to accurately test for ADHD and Autism (ASD). This ADHD & Autism (ASD) testing process begins with a clinical interview, where we learn about early childhood symptoms and the current challenges that are negatively impacting your life. After the initial clinical interview, you will be given computer-based assessments to further fine-tune our diagnostic impression. We are specialists in Autism and ADHD and have a wealth of experience in ASD and ADHD.

### Neuropsychological Testing

Neuropsychological or psychoeducational testing is not needed for a simple diagnosis of ASD or ADHD. It is necessary, however, to receive accommodations in school or extra time on a standardized test. We have been successful in getting extra time accommodations for our clients on the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, etc.  Neuropsychological testing can also be helpful in determining if your child has a learning disorder. We offer weekend hours for busy students and their families.

## Getting Help for ADHD or Autism

### Telehealth Therapy & Coaching

We offer individual, group, and family teletherapy for children, teens, and adults in need of support for ADD, ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Depression, school, career, and relationship issues. Dr. Sachs has developed a unique method for ADD, ADHD treatment based on his book, The Adult ADD Solution, called the “Sachs Protocol,” utilizing CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and psychoeducation to manage ADD, ADHD in adults.  Our child psychologists use CBT and the group model (Dragon Masters) to assist children with their unique behavioral and emotional needs.

### Neurotribes

We offer a range of online *neurotribes* or support groups for adults. Currently, we have online neurotribes for adults with ADHD and autistic adults. The groups offer support, accountability and psychoeducational experiences. We also have a parenting support group that meets online once a week.

### Social Skills Groups

We have neurotribes for children too! Our popular online social skills groups are run by child psychologists to help children and adolescents who are having difficulty with peer relationships, anxiety, depression and ADHD. Online groups allow children to interact in a private Minecraft realm. Children and adolescents will gain greater acceptance, make friends, strengthen their communication skills, behave more appropriately, reduce anxiety, increase their frustration tolerance, and develop more confidence so they succeed socially.

Our fee is $790 for ADHD **or** Autism diagnostic testing, and $890 for both combined. If you would like to receive a report with your testing, there is an additonal $400 fee. Neuropsychological testing (for extra time accommodations) is $5995.00. The Sachs Center **does not accept insurance or Medicaid**. We provide a receipt for out-of-network insurance plans. We accept credit, debit, HSA cards.

Very positive experience getting an ASD/ADHD diagnosis. My diagnosis was given by Jennifer who was extremely kind, courteous, and understanding which allowed me the comfort to freely share my lived experience. After feeling deeply broken throughout my entire life, it is incredibly relieving to have the confirmation of my neurotype - which has uncovered the source of much of the suffering I've experienced throughout my life. Plenty of suffering still exists, but it feels like a huge weight has been released. Now that I am able to identify the source, I believe I can make steps towards further improving the quality of my life. I really enjoyed my evaluation with the Sachs Center. I was anxious about the testing and was worried that I wouldn't be able to remember everything I needed to but the psychologist was very kind and made me feel comfortable. Best ADHD diagnostic and treatment center on the planet. George Sachs and the team do a tremendous job diagnosing and treating ADHD and ASD.
