## The Cumberlands Commitment

The Cumberlands Commitment is our steadfast promise to provide an amazing education at an affordable price, to meet you where you are and do everything we can to make sure you get where you want to go.

### What is the Cumberlands Commitment?

The Cumberlands Commitment was launched in 2018 as a college accessibility initiative focused on making college more affordable for all of our students.

### How can the Cumberland Commitment affect me?

First, all of our students will pay a tuition rate much lower than most colleges and university throughout Kentucky and the United States. We also make sure that other initiatives has aligned with the Cumberlands Commitment to address other aspects of the academic experience.

### Is the One Price Promise the same as the Cumberlands Commitment?

Our One Price Promise is part of the Cumberlands Commitment. It is the innovative realization of our pledge to provide our students with an affordable education, the first pillar of the Cumberlands Commitment.

### How does the One Price Promise affect me?

With Cumberlands’ One Price Promise, everything (and we mean everything) you need to succeed is included in your tuition. No hidden fees. No extra costs. You pay one price for your tuition and we make sure everything you need - books, academic resources, and more - is delivered to you free of charge.

### So this is all just a marketing gimmick right?

Absolutely not. Since 1888, we have been focused on changing the lives of our students with an affordable education. These programs are us staying true to our mission and ensuring our students that with Cumberlands they can get the most affordable and highest quality, education found anywhere.
