## Online editing and proofreading services

You may be wondering about the difference between having me edit your document and having it edited by one of the many online editing or proofreading services. Most online editing services make use of freelance editors who work remotely from various locations, often overseas. It is unlikely you will be given the opportunity to communicate directly with the editor working on your document; instead, you will be expected to deal with the office staff. This is particularly the case with online thesis editing companies.
